A favourite for the perennial border Echinacea or 'coneflower' is a wonderful plant which encourages insect pollinators in the garden. 'Sundress' is a remarkable example of this species, having been selected for winter hardiness on the breeder's farm in South Holland, it is a reliable performer both in borders and containers. Flowering the year after sowing the plants produce an abundance of stunning flowers with pure-white ray petals surrounding a yellow cone.
